Named in recognition of the large Manchester Poplar Trees behind the 2nd Tee, running along either side of the fairway and guarding the way in to the left of the green.

A long drive is required between two copses of birch trees on the left and right. A small green with many subtle undulations awaits a long iron approach shot.
